The Dr. Abbey Akinoshun Foundation (DAAF) recently held a successful relief initiative aimed at supporting the elderly during the Eid-el-Kabir celebrations. The event took place on Saturday, 15th June 2024, in Kajola, Ibadan, starting at 9am.

In a heartwarming display of community spirit, we distributed food items and cash donations to numerous elderly residents. Dr. Abbey Akinoshun, along with our dedicated DAAF team, personally handed out the donations, ensuring that each recipient felt valued and supported.

“We are thrilled to have been able to make a positive impact on the lives of the elderly in Kajola,” said Dr. Abbey Akinoshun. “Our goal was to bring joy and relief during this festive season, and I believe we achieved that.”

The event saw a significant turnout, with many elderly individuals expressing their gratitude for the support provided. The donations included essential food items that will help sustain the beneficiaries beyond the festive period.

Our initiative is part of DAAF’s ongoing efforts to assist vulnerable members of society. By addressing the needs of the elderly, we aim to foster a sense of community and ensure that no one is left behind, especially during important celebrations like Eid-el-Kabir.

We extend our heartfelt thanks to everyone who supported and participated in this initiative. Your contributions have made a meaningful difference in the lives of many.
